With an elevation of 12,400 ft, Tsomgo Lake is a must-visit place in Sikkim located on the Gangtok-Nathula highway. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains and vibrant alpine forests, the glacial lake offers unique colours according to the season. During the Monsoon it reflects a bright blue hue; while winter transforms this lake into an icy area. The place also offers yak rides across the lake which has been a common tourist activity on this lake.
