Nohkalikai Falls Sightseeing

Nohkalikai Falls is a majestic waterfall located in Cherrapunji and a popular tourist site in the state. This is the tallest plunge waterfall in India, cascading down a sheer cliff face of 1,115 feet. The waterfall is named on the legend according to which a woman named Likai, heartbroken by her husband's death, jumped to her death from the falls carrying her young daughter.
